Our Coaches
Michael Pare
Michael has joined Seacoast Pickleball. He comes from a racket sport, teaching and coaching background. Having coached tennis players of all levels for over 20 years, he brings that expertise now to the pickleball courts.
After graduating from the University of NH and participating in college tennis, Michael pursued teaching Mathematics and coaching. Along the way, his passions of teaching and tennis came back together where he started teaching tennis clinics and eventually his own tennis academy; Tennis IQ Academy. Additionally Michael began coaching tennis at local high schools, including Spaulding, and more recently, Oyster River HS as the Varsity Boys coach, who were the NH State Champs in 2022!
On the pickleball court, you will find Michael looking one way and hitting the ball the other way, or perhaps his paddle is behind his back. Beyond that creativity, you will also find that he is very detail oriented with technique and strategy. Michael recently completed his pickleball certification with the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), and is excited to bring that curriculum focus together with his tennis coaching and playing experiences.
He will be available for the current pickleball offerings: private and semi private lessons, and coach & plays working at all skills and levels of play. Look for his new clinics centered around getting comfortable and mastering the three zones of pickleball: 1. serve/return 2. transition zone and 3. no volley zone.
