Customized Coaching Programs:   4 people or 8 people programs, 1.5 hours.  Kathy will design and deliver the program that will meet your group’s needs. She has broken apart the game and created different sessions. Pick what area you want to focus on and she will bring the tools to help you make adjustments to your game. Keep moving forward on your pickleball journey by adding tools to your BME tool kit. 

  • Pickleball?? It’s time to learn and play - learn rules, positioning on the court, basic skills, strategy of the game 

  • Ready, Set, Focus: preparation before hitting the ball - be in position

  • Shots! Paddle control, placement, and shot selection: hitting balls with control and intention; less unforced errors, more consistency 

  • Up and Down the Middle: offensive and defensive strategy; as a  team learning to defend and attack the middle

  • Positioning and Transitioning as a Team: move and communicate as a team to make it harder to attack

  • Playing the Ball! In the air or on the bounce - is it in or is it out: make quick decisions when the ball is coming at you with speed

  • Reset and Recovery: change the pace of play and get both you and your teammate in good position to hit a winning shot

  • A Brick Wall at the Non-volley Zone: defensive blocks and offensive attacks

  • Lob Land: safely move and defend the lob and learn when to use the lob effectively 

  • Serves: Serve it up - Serve it Down: offensive serving strategy and defending tough serves 

  • Spins: Spin it to win it: learn the slice, and the roll over to create spin

  • Dig It: dominant defense - defend the slam/ put away shot

DRILL IT with Coach Kathy:  3 to 8 people, 1.5 hours -  You will do various drills to work on different parts of the game so you can practice with each other.

Kathy looks forward to leading your group with some fun and focused drills!

Coach and Plays 4 & Kathy / 3 & Kathy:  3 people or 4  people, 1.5 hours

  • Let Kathy know what you and your group want to work on in the Coach and Play.  

  • Plan on a short stretching warm up, drills to learn tips and tools that you will integrate into the coach and play games. 

  • With 4 people, the group will play and Kathy will coach from the side; with the option of her integrating into the game to play with each individual. With 3 people Kathy will play with each person in the group. 

Kathy can’t wait to play with you!  

Semi-private lesson:  2 people, 1 hour - Let Kathy know what you and your teammate want to work on and learn. This session consists of a short stretching warm up, drills and challenges. 

Both players will develop their personal skills with an opportunity to improve team chemistry.

Private lesson: 1 person, 1 hour - Let Kathy know what you want to work on and learn. This session consists of a short stretching warm-up, skills assessment and specialized skill work, drills and challenges. Personal attention to make personal progress.
